Siasia sets for Egypt test

Under-23 team

Siasia, says the
Nigeria Football
Federation (NFF)
has secured a
four-legged
international
friendly against
Egypt U-23.
The first game will
take place in
Nigeria on the
15th of January,
and the 2nd game
on the 17th of
January, while the
team will take on
Egypt in Egypt on
the 20th and 22nd.
Siasia
commended the
NFF for arranging
top grade friendly
games for the
team as it
prepares for the
qualifiers in
February 2015.
He added that the
team will then
depart for Turkey
for another round
of intensive
training and
playing tour,
while he is
proposing that
they leave Turkey
for Dubai then
Malta for more top
grade friendly
games before
returning to
Nigeria on the 7th
of February 2015
to prepare for its
first game against
Gabon in an All
Africa Games
qualifier.
According to the
media officer of
the team, Timi
Ebikagboro, the
team, which will
go on break on
21st December,
will reconvene on
4th January 2015
and training will
commence the
following day.
Meanwhile four
more foreign
based
professionals
have arrived the
team’s camp.
The new arrivals
are Iroha
Chinazom from AD
Oliveirense,
Portugal, Ovoke
Benard from KAA
Gent, Belgium,
Gomo Onduku
from Iasi, Romania
and Adedapo
Adeniyi from the
USA.
These new
arrivals thus bring
the number of
foreign based
players in the
camp to 23.
