Avatar dongle new software has ready ,some customer are testing now,we will release the software late,please notice.

Hi,

I have download all tools (loader + upgrade) for my avatar2 but when I launch the upgrade it stucks there and never complete though i follow all the instruct in the doc.
Using Window XP + serial com 1.

is avatar2 online? Since three days ago the lock light has been changing from green to red and the stb red light is off. Some1 should help me. Thanks.

it is quite simple, you connect your cable to your decoder set the freq for w3a which you can get from lyngsat and you will see your signal satus

Guys who can help me out with the upgrade on my Avatart-2 dungle. i downloaded the bin file from Johnbull and the Gx downloader. i still can get d way out. the download progress stays on 0%. Can someone let me know if i need to do some settings on the GxDownloader window

Connect your w3a cable to the reciever. Press menu,
select installation
Put in 0000 as password
Go to manual scan
Put in 12520 v as frequency and symble rate 27500

turn off ur avatar then after u click on download then plug it back (turn it on ) then u r good to go.

turn off ur avatar then after u click on download then plug it back (turn it on ) then u r good to go.

By turning off 'means do a complete power down,i normaly remove the power plug from the unit,then after about 5 seconds plug the power plug back into the unit and voila.....the progress bars will begin to advance.

hello, first thing if update was success then maybe you insert old SW instead of new by mistak. Second thing how did you check on avt that you have old SW? And not new
