Activate Samsung Pay and get a free wireless charging pad, or a 9952.50 Naira rebate on one (Verizon customers)

Samsung Pay is the most widely accepted of the mobile payment services. This is because it works with both retailers that support NFC, and those that use MST (Magnetic Secure Transmissions) to swipe a credit card. Since a wide majority of stores have the equipment to swipe credit cards, Samsung Pay will work in over 90% of retail locations.

Samsung is trying to use incentives to get those using a Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ to use Samsung Pay over Android Pay. If you have one of these handsets and you are not using Verizon, Samsung will send you a free wireless charging pad. All you need to do is install the Samsung Pay app, and register at least one credit card or debit card before November 8th. You then have until November 15th to file your claim for the free charging pad by going to a special promotion page (https://samsungpromotions.com/ChargerPromo).

If you happen to be a Verizon customer, you are limited to receiving a 9952.50 Nigerian Naira rebate on a wireless charging pad that you have purchased from Verizon. After you buy the charging pad at full price between now and November 8th, you download the Samsung Pay app and add a credit or debit card to it. Once that is accomplished, you head over to a special promotions page (https://samsungpromotions.com/paypromo/), and send your original receipt for the wireless pad to Samsung before November 15th. Or, you can send it in the mail by December 15th.

Originally, Verizon said that it would not support Samsung Pay, but recently reversed that decision.
