This is the first free online university that offered free online courses which you will get a degree at the end of it.University of the People offers online, accredited, tuition-free, American university degrees. The programs are taught by world-class professors hailing from universities such as NYU, Harvard, Oxford and more in a supportive virtual small classroom setting. University of the People is an American online university offering distance-learning courses. University the People is a tuition-free, non-profit institution. The University does not charge students to take classes, does not charge for any reading and other study materials, as well as does not charge for annual enrollment. In order to remain sustainable, University of the People charges an Application Processing Fee (up to $50) as well as an Exam Processing Fee ($100) per end-of-course-exam. These processing fees are collected towards the end of each course, and not at the start of your studies.

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in partnership with UK Universities offers distance learning scholarships as part of the commitment of the Commission and the Department for International Development’s (DFID) commitment to explore new methods of scholarship delivery. Edinburgh Global Distance Learning Scholarships
The University of Edinburgh offer Master’s scholarships for about 20+ distance learning Master’s programmes currently offered by the University related to social sciences, health and medicine.
