Blast in Egypt capital kills six

A blast next to a police checkpoint in Cairo killed six people on Friday, state media and officials said. State television reported that the “explosion” occurred in the Talibiya district in the west of the capital. A prosecution official and a police official said it occurred next to a police checkpoint close to a mosque.
