Tottenham have entered the race to sign highly-rated Burnley defender Michael Keane in the summer,
according to The Telegraph, leaving the door open for Manchester United to move for Eric Dier.
The Spurs man has attracted interest from United boss Jose Mourinho due to his ability to operate both from defence and midfield, though Mauricio Pochettino is keen to retain the England international's services unless he can sign his Three Lions team-mate.
A number of top-flight clubs have shown an interest in Keane, including Liverpool and Everton, but Spurs are now thought to be leading the race.
