INTO THE UNIVERSITY OF
CALABAR FOR 2012/2013
ACADEMIC SESSION We make this announcement for
the benefit of all candidates who
have chosen University of
Calabar as their First Choice in
their application for admission
into the University for the 2009/2010 Academic Session. The
post-UME screening exercise has
been scheduled to take place
from Thursaday 13th June to
Saturday 16th June, 2012. Eligibility All candidates who meet the cut-off point scores as
indicated against each academic
programme in the relevant
column are eligible to participate
in the post-UME screening
exercise as shown below: Cut off points : Programmes in Clinical Science (Medicine and
Surgery): 200+;
Law:200+.

participating banks and request
to make payment for University
of Calabar post UTME e-scratch
card or paper scratch card
based on the options below, you will be required to pay N2,550
which will cover the screening
fee, practice questions papers
and portal/bank charges Process Flow of E-

First Method Go online to www.unical.postutme.org to buy scratch cards online, click the
‘Buy Pins Online’ link on the
site.
A page displays for payment with
ATM cards
Enter the number of pins to buy Enter the ATM Card Payment
details
The pins will be generated after
a successful transaction
Login with the generated pin for
the Post Utme SECOND METHOD Go online to www.unical.postutme.org select ‘Buy pin from bank link
and print general pin slip
walk into any branch of Zenith
bank plc or First Bank Plc
nationwide with slip to make
payment Bank will post payment to
activate your pin
login with the generated pin for
the Post UTME THE Paper SCRATCH CARD
OPTION First choice Post-UTME scratch
cards are available for those
who reside in Calabar or have
Difficulties in obtaining the e-
scratch card number against the
fields provided. Click on the logon and follow the screen instructions to complete the
form FINAL STEP Confirm your entries before
clicking on submit. After clicking
on submit, print the form as
evidence of your registration
andbring along to the screening venues. download the version of practice
questions related to your
faculty/programme after filing
the online application form. Candidates are required to come
with the following items for the
screening exercise. a. 3 recent coloured passport
size photographs with full names
and JAMB registration number
written on the reverse side of
the photographs
b. 2012 JAMB Examination Result slip showing candidate’s
photograph.
c. HB pencil, eraser and ball point
pen. TIME: Screening of candidates will commence at 8.00 a.m. each
day. Candidates who arrive the
venue of the examination 30
minutes after the
commencement of the exercise
will not be screened. NOTE:
1. Impersonation is a serious
offence and anyone caught
impersonating will be handed
over to the Law Enforcement
Agents. 2. Any candidate who fails to
take part in the screening
exercise automatically loses his
or her chance of being
considered for admission.
3. No GSM handset, calculators or any other extraneous materials
should be brought into the
screening hall. Such materials
confiscated will not be returned.
