Just read on BBC Sports that Van Persie would not be signing a new Arsenal contract. He stated this after a meeting with Arsene Wenger & Ivan Gazidis (Arsenal Chairman) where he found out that his future aspiration of winning trophies is not in line with that of d club...Anyway, let's wait until d chairman is back from America where he is hoildaying after which another round of meeting will be held with Van P.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of Iceland international Gylfi Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim.
Sigurdsson, 22, excelled during a loan spell with Swansea City last season and had been expected to tie up a permanent deal at the Liberty Stadium after two years in the Bundesliga.
A statement on the Tottenham official website read: "We are delighted to announce that we have completed the transfer of Gylfi Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim." Sigurdsson, who scored seven goals in 19 appearances for Swansea, becomes the club's first signing since the appointment of Andre Villas-Boas as head coach on Tuesday.

The International Football Association Board (IFAB) in its meeting today, 5th July 2012 unanimously voted for the introduction of goal-line technology in football. This technology will be tested at the FIFA World Club Tournament in Japan and the FIFA Confederation Cup in Brazil.

The English Premier League (EPL) has vowed to adopt this technology when it is practically feasible.

Good news for some, bad news for others.

I think the problem in Arsenal FC is d Board and not necessarily Arsene Wenger. Althouh, many pple believe his philosophy is backing the decision of d Board...How, on earth, could you be making huge money from d sale of players & invest VERY little in replacing ur best hands...Kai...this keeps me wondering
