Peter Odewinge and National Team Coaches Empty
PostSubject: Peter Odewinge and National Team Coaches   Peter Odewinge and National Team Coaches Empty2012-12-31, 02:00

What is your view about Odewinge reaction through Twitter after released of Nation Cup provisional list....

Below is Osaze Twitter mssg from Dec. 23 to Dec. 26 :

On my not inclusion to the eagles list i am not surprised. Not surprised Keshi and NFF couldn't tell me themselves. No personality!

Keshi has no footballing reasons not to invite me but is not saying the truth. He s still in my plans he said haha coach u no dey my plans.

To some who wanna put mouth here please act like men. When two men talk 3rd has nothing to do. So ikpeba s and the rest talk to me face2face

This is all a comedy and our poor fans are being fed with lies while they cutting the cake for them selves.

Nff spokesman told MTN he is arrogant ? I am arrogant ? Why did countries president threaten to close down our federation for two years ?

Why didn't Lagerback continue with supereagles after world cup ? Chop and run was his plan and they knew it.

Nigerian fans voted me nigerian player of the year during world cup qualifiers & I was a spectator in the world cup and I should be quiet?

Cos after we got olympic silver I didn't say Siasia is ready for eagles he waited till he gets the job to axe me ?

Me and Apam begged him to take Kaita in the olympic team.He told us he wants to play Efe Ambrose there who is a centre back ? Good plan

The only reason me and Siasia fell out was over kits that were not enough cos they were on sale as the olympics were on going. Shame !

Ok that childish thing about shirt aside. WBA needed me back 4 important game and Siasia refused to let me miss a midweek friendly game ?

Were is common sense there ? The game was played in a 80000 capacity stadium with 2000 spectators. That's how important the game was !

They can't spoil my name !!!

That's when I ask my self - do we not have a team captain and federation who can tell its common sense ? And settle the matter ? Na wow oh

Then they don't invite Enyama our number one for a crucial qualifying game cos he complained about a flight or something little? Ridiculous

The story is getting long and I don tire. I cared a lot about the team and wasn't passive.

This might sound disrespectful but eagles had no good captain for many years. Everyone looking only after himself.

The only reason I write this is for the fans to know my reasons and position on few things and don't think I don't care or too proud.

After Afcon in Ghana eagles fans were satisfied with our performance and Siasia after the tournament said I will take u to the olympics

They sacked Berti Vogts after it though and just a month after that Coach Amodu took over!

In his first game in charge I didn't even warm up

I had to holla at him and Amokachi his assistant and next games I played and man of the match in half games of the team that year

Whatin I do them self ? Hahahaha

Nff member just called me. Ofcos got insulted. I told him I sang national anthem for ten years to be treated like this.

That's it on this. Story ended. No more talks about national team again. I ve said all I wanted. If will be tempted will go off twitter.

A wise man advised me after 1st tweet that there r other ways to make someone look stupid.

I am not interested in that. Just cleared maself

Anger is over. Full focus on WBA season and next game. I don't need any distraction, neither the eagles camp. Both independent!

There are more problems in the world than football. HAARP, Blue Beam, NWO, global warming, Nephelims, poverty and Baggies europe ticket.

Ok Victor e don reach ur turn - talking about professionalism huh- did u have any business in the dressing room during game against guinee?

Ur handshake could have been back luck to me cos you have prejudged opinion about me. Coach and his team only in dressing room please !!!

If u had coaching talent u would at least be one by now. That means you don't know much about the game. Means don't be a adviser to FF

u want me to be mature ? Ur interview that me and Mikel shouldn't be in the national team ?

Shouldn't u leave that to the coach to say ?

I heard ur story oh. How hot tempered u where as a player. They said far worse than me. I might have done few little mistakes but Little !

Now for the coach small one cos I just remembered what he told me him self. He said they told Westerhof its them or JayJay in a afcon

That he was playing for him self 2 much. Jay jay future only in the semi final of that nations cup. Was Big Boss the coach ? Which boss self

People read between the lines as well. U ll understand the big picture. Oliseh said Siasia was the one they send to rattle officials hahaa

I ve gone of track. Back to u bros. I wanted to play this cup for our fans and not you guys. Cos u guys change like chameleons when suits u

U said I can talk face 2 face with u only when I achieve what you achieved ? No be so senior. Treat ur little bros like family not oga.

My reply to you V. Ikpeba. Prince of Monaco ? Ты не принц, а скорее принцесса. Ты не

тянешь. Так что, ДАВАЙ ДО СВИДАНИЯ

Recent Interview by MTNonline.com

Osaze Odemwingie has said he regrets his sensational Twitter comments, which were made because coach Stephen Keshi was not fair to him.

West Bromwich Albion striker Odemwingie had in the wake of the release of the Nigeria squad list for the 2013 AFCON taken to his Twitter account and made some disparaging comments against Keshi as well as the entire team.

He was also reported to have called the chairman of the NFF technical Committee, Chris Green, names over his exclusion from the AFCON squad.

However, the England-based forward said his mistakes were made in a fit of anger after he had made it known to his coach and colleagues that he was set to travel for the Nations Cup in South Africa.

In a no-holds-bar interview, the WBA star surprisingly and truthfully admitted making some of the comments credited to him, but was also quick to make some clarifications on calling Green names, saying what he attacked was the decision to exclude him.

He described Green as a good man and one of the few on the NFF board alongside the president, Aminu Maigari, who he knows personally, and would not want to offend, though his anger has portrayed him to be at “war with everybody”.

“I remember it was Green who settled my case with Siasia then, but I was too angry when he called me over this matter, and was impatient to listen to him,” he now said.

“My comment was not directed at him personally, but to those who made the decision, but I think I over reacted then.”

On his face-off with Keshi, the former Lokomotiv Moscow forward revealed, “I called the coach two or three times within that period, maybe two or three days before the list was made public and told him of my commitment to be part of the Nations Cup, and have told my (club) coach I will be going to the Nations Cup.

“I told the coach I was ready to report to camp by January 3, even before other professionals start reporting to camp, if I were in his programme for the Nations Cup, and even told him to feel free to drop me, if I were not in his programme.

“I felt betrayed after that seeming heart-to-heart discussions with the coach few days to the release of the team list and he could not hint me I was not in his plan for the Nations Cup.

“For me, it was not professional and I considered it a betrayal and lost my cool given all the arrangements I had made towards the Nations Cup.”

Odemwingie also revealed that he felt pained and miffed by “some comments on why I was dropped ranging from being arrogant to asking for the captain’s band, and I concluded the federation wanted to freeze me out of the national team after 10 years of serving the country with commitment and dedication.”

“I don’t mind being asked to give the younger ones a chance, even though I still have five years to offer at the international level, but I only think it would be proper to be honourably pulled out of the national team and not ‘disgraced’ out of the team after years of dedicated service to Nigeria,” he argued.

The WBA star argued that though his international career is over in the light of these controversies, which he noted ”were unfortunate and regrettable, but I still believe there is need to correct some wrong impressions out there that I am always fighting with every coach, but what people don’t know is that my issues with all the coaches from Samson Siasia to Lars Lagerback and now Keshi had to do with purely football matters, not administrative or asking for more money for players”.

“My case with coach Siasia dates back to the 2008 Olympics and had to do with insufficient jerseys and all that. With Lagerback it had to do with how I was treated and I voiced it to him personally at the World Cup, and now being treated unfairly.

“Imagine talking with someone two, three times over an issue and few days later you begin to hear a different story from the person, who was in a position to tell you point blank,’you are not in my plan for this’.

Odemwingie added: “I am human and open to errors by the way I may have taken the issue, and regret the whole controversy, and want to put all this behind me now and focus on my club career, while wishing the team the best of luck as a Nigerian.”

So guys what is your view ? If you ask me i will say the guy is arrogant ....[u]

The guy meant well for the National team, but he has over reacted! His actions wont encourage any coaches to give him invitation to the national team again. He needs to watch himself, Nigeria is not UK ow

The only thing that annoy me most is our game against madagasca at away, Osaze left the camp (Just becos coach (Siasia) denied him impulsion of Martins) give reason that is injure and following weekend he fixtured in West Brom game, now he said the game is not important because their is only 2000 spectator in the stadium..

are we after the crowd in the stadium or is the point that matter to us ?
