Manchester United have confirmed David Moyes has been sacked as manager with immediate effect.

"The club would like to place on record its thanks for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role," United confirmed in a statement.

They allowed him to complete his destructive role in manu b4 sacking him. It was obvious frm the beginning that he lacked the acumen for the job. His pedigree says everything.

They will be happy if they will sign a coach like di matio former chelsea manager

I think he had failed to manage the players from Zaha, Ryan giggs, vidic and many others. this is the main reason I think why he was sacked. there was no leadership at all in United. David Gill left in the same season as Ferguson and then Moyes chased the backroom staff and then it all fell apart. I personally bliv this was inevitable since it looked like the players didn't like him. recently welbeck came out and said he wanted to leave the club, kagawa wanted too, evra had not signed a contract and this was almost the final blow when he lost to Everton. United will lose a lot of money because of not participating in Europe and I percieve this was too much food on one plate and someone had to pay the price and unfortunately no one is thinking that Ed-wood has equally had no direction as director of football to lead the team in any direction.

van gaal is likely but I wud personally want to see a long term coach like klopp. looks like they will get a coach for short term while they look at other options

i don't see klopp leaving dortmond for man u.

I do not believe dat, anything is possible with money in football, it is just that he may not want to leave a team that will be playing in the champion league next season for one that wont.

Klopp has ruled himself out of the man u job.

whoever is coming to United will be kept a secret. People will deny until we all get surprised wen the news is released. I remember Morinho denying going away from his team until it was confirmed. Any manager cud come in irrespective of what they say now even klopp. Thats my take
