sounds your decoder is not patched(patch on), if you are usin strong decoder press 6969 twice it should read patch on, if you are using any other decoder please advice

The patch is on, but the green light still stand, no red light.......

The problem is from your R232 cable. Make sure that the blue end is connected to your avatar and the black end to your decoder.

I've done everything that i was been told, yet still the a*****r is not working; the green light still stand, and no red light....plz what should i do?

You will have to reflash with a sw, say 12/7/2011 after erasing before you can have green stable and red flashing and then see picture on your tv to do a factory reset.

Pls what is the remote control shortcut for restoring to factory default. You know that after erasing, the avatar will not display on the monitor until a software is loaded. Thanks.

.@ Biss1,avatar2 come with remote control and av cable,connect it to ur tv with av cable then go factory setting with 0000.

Yes I know how to do that but when I erased nothing displayed upon connecting the avatar2 to the tv which means I will have to reload a sw before restoring to factory default. This is against the procedure earlier adviced...... 'try to erase with Gxloader,then set to factory loader with ur avatar remote then re-uprade...'

You av to load a software on it b4 you can restore to factory setting. I'll say after installing now, check if it is ok. If it's not then you can restore factory setting before trying it again.

When be fully back with any software version u we be just fine.

please how can i upgrade my avatar when the RS232 cable that come with my avatar has the same mouth that can not even connect with my laptop or is there any other cord that i can use to connect it to my laptop, the last time that i upgrade i need to go to a friend that has a desktop before i could upgrade....please help oooooo

U will need USB serial cable, u can get it in computer store. Make sure u get d installatn sw.

just tell dem usb to serial cable. You will get it where they sell computer accessories btw 1500 to 2000. It also comes with installation cd.

believe me peeps mymy and whisky are off at my base. i av july 12 on. can anyone confirm if his mymy is onair and what soft is on his vodka. thanks

i have just tried 29/08 25/09 both freeze on M**v but P**t works fine but no D**v. Anyone with a more stable software?
