Card sharing

We can identify two meanings: (a) one person has two or three receivers in his premises and only one subscription to DSTV; if the receivers are card sharing receivers, that person can configure them such that all the receivers can receive the channels subscribed to in different rooms, instead of buying several official cards; (b) people in different places (even different parts of the world) with card sharing receivers can connect to one server to share an official card or official cards. Sometimes, they may just be friends who come to an arrangement --- often each person providing at least one card; e.g. one person provides MyTV card and another a DSTV card etc and they all 'share' these to receive channels from the different providers; another type is that you have card sharing operators who charge a fee to others to be allowed to join the 'sharing' network. Caution: providers strongly target card sharing, particularly of the latter type taking out the servers and trying to prosecute members of the 'sharing ring'. Again, personally I don't dabble in card sharing; if at all I will, it will most likely simply be between my own receivers exclusively.

let's always encourage and appreciate people for their work whether old or new. It's something most of us wouldn't wanna do not because we can't do it but because we love keeping things to ourselves.
