You have to take note of the following things when installing a satellite

Never allow the Lnb to be on the roof because you might never get the signal but i'm not saying that it's impossible.

Bear in mind that satellite don't have one direction to be use in tracking the signal. Personal i've receive sirius in two different directions at a location not more than two meters in the same place i.e the proximity was so close and it was in the same compound.

Make sure that the lnb f connector port(place where cable is connection to the lnb) does not face the ground or up. It must either face the left or right position. But if you feel like letting face the ground then you must change your polarity to the other way round.

When Lnb is shown infront of the decoder that probably means that the cable is not well connected. It has to do with bridging of negative and positive.

When once the cable is well connected then the signal level must be 70% above whether there's signal or not but if it's below 30% then it means that you need to check your connection again.

Never track signal during bad weather except you're doing it for yourself else you'll demote your level of professionalism.
