Police Arrest Suspects With Human Heads, Flesh

Two females and three men were arrested, Saturday morning by the Ogun State for being in possession of human heads and some pieces of human flesh.


The five suspects were arrested in Joju area of Otta in Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State in a joint operation conducted by the a team from Otta Divisional Police Headquarters led by Mr Gabriel Dibie and the Special Anti Robbery Squad from the Lagos Command.

The suspects were caught following a tip off from residents who alerrted the police team from Otta of their activities.

The Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed arrest said "exhibits recovered from them include one complete human head and pieces of human flesh in a container stained with liquid substance suspected to be human blood."

Adejobi, also stated that the case has been handed over to SARS Lagos while the Ogun will assist during the course of the investigation as directed by the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Mr Ikemefuna Okoye.

Okoye also assured Ogun residents that the Police will not condone any act of criminality and inappropriate behaviours within the state as it's ready to harness all available resources to have robust intelligence- driven policing.
