| Son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Lt Col Adeboye Obasanjo, an army engineer at the 3rd Division in Jos, Plateau State was shot yesterday by Boko Haram terrorists as he led soldiers on an offensive to reclaim Michika town in Adamawa State which fell into the hands of the insurgents. Twenty four soldiers were also reportedly killed during the encounter in which Lt Col Obasnjo was said to be seriously injured.
The Defence Headquarters did not respond to inquiries seeking confirmation of the incident but a reliable military source, who confirmed the story, said the injured Obasanjo was receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital inYola, the state capital. | |

| Nothing new in shotting obasanjo's son in the course of his duties. Other people sons died in the same course and heaven didn't fall. If obasanjo's son dies during the course, fight against boko haram must continues. Afterall, obasanjo himself contributed to the rise of boko haram in nigeria. | |

| D truth of dis matter is, d so-called politicians have no love of electorates/masses at heart. They are selfish. Even, the FG doesn't ready to eradicate boko haram. If not, why not declare total war against d radical sects in north-east nigeria? Who is fooling who? | |

They are playing politics and I pity northerners, they'll suffer it. Nigeria Defence Department has enough implements of war both for land and air which can be used to silence boko haram within minutes. But, NDD folds her arms looking like chelsea fan viewing match btw chelsea and barca. Boko haram has no single war jet to battle nigeria army/airforce. Nigeria as of today, can boast of nothing less than 45 pieces of heavy war jets. Why not use same to silence boko haram in the north-east nigeria? | |
