No ''guru'' can reconstruct or rewrite software for avatar. The source, **** has successfully blocked 4899x (if u understand the connection btw 4899x and avatar.) After d chinese national
holiday, ending on d 7th, d manufacturers can only continue their research. I hope this answers all questions. Any info here comes from the manufacturers.

YES AVARTA2 IS ON, CHECK UR W3 DISH AND SIGNAL, THE STB RED LIGHT CAN ONLY COME ON IF ITS COMMUNICATING WITH UR DECODER AND SINCE UR AVATAR2 HAS NOT LOCKED TO SERVER, ITS NORMAL THAT THE STB LIGHT IS OFF. SO JUST CORRECT THE SIGNAL PROB

If you want to know, follow this
If you have never entered unlock 6969 before, do it by entering 6969 twice to make sure that it's set to ON.
Then press menu
Go to installation [press 0000 when enter password appears]
Then search for the availability of option.
If option exist ,then it surely it can work with dongle.
But if it does not exist then u need to upgrade with it's latest firmware

or a patch...
