miceobox2 connection problem

hey peeps,
I just got a microbox2 4m a frd,initially it waz microbox1 converted 2 Micro-box2,afta connecting W3a 2 d dongle i cudnt watch any channel even d free channels.d signal waz displaying red on my strong receiver,but wen i connect it directly 2 d strong receiver it displas good signal strength.pls help me out,how do i watch dis channels using d dongle?hey peeps,

Are u sure u did d right connection?

this is wat i did,i connected W3a directly 2 d dongle n i powered d dongle using an adaptor.i then connected nilesat directly 2 d receiver.but notyn showed

Well I don't use Nilesat so I wouldn't know much. But which frequency did u use in tracking W3 & are u using a discswitch? Have u programmed ur receiver for ur microbox in the option menu? These are some of d questions u need to sort out!

Drdanskills,tank u so much 4 ya contribution.yes I ve a discque that I connected nilesat,Nss-joy tv & mytv with.I connected d W3a directly 4m d lnb 2 d dongle.I do c option in d receiver with dongle,dongle2,wireless etc,but I don't know which one 2 ok. There's yes/No option.I don't ve a particular frequency but wen I connect d W3a 2 d receiver I get all d signals.pls enlighten me more.

If u r using microbox u v 2 track w3a at vertical polarity go 2 ur decoda option n select dongle1 save n exit n u r gud 2 go cuz dat wat am using loud n clear

let start dis way, get a dual lnb track w3a at vertical den connect 1 cable straight 2 ur dongle n d oda cable 2 ur diseqc switch 4 u 2 b able 2 watch channels on w3a n ur dongle still working fine, okay!

@Komez, I believe u need to have an installer check out ur connections cos there's something u ain't getting right. Two heads they say is better dan one!

i selecteddongle1,yet it still didnt open scrambled channels.if thats d only setting 2 be done on d receiver,i d do it.does it upgrade or s/tyn?

@komez give more details about ur connection.

@komez, try and get the upgrade for your decoder model, i think you might get it right

Pls d gurus in d house, my issue looks similar 2 dis bt i am usin '2011 fta' d dngle stopd workin 4 d past 3 days nw. Pls did it gt blokd or what can i do. I am usin STR4669XII. Thanks.

It certainly means u didn't download d actual upgrade file cos it's usually an .stb file. Go back and try downloading it again.

my current upgrade is 166p,i d/loaded 167p & 168p they both didnt work.i upgraded 2 166p masef.pls if u ve a beta 168p do paste it 4 me 2 d/load.moreover a frd is using 154p and his dongle is working.maybe i nid an upgrade

most dongles have expired so if yours is a victim then find way and upgrade it.

hey guyz,i succeeded in uploading a new s/w 1.73A & d date of expiry now turned to 01/12/2011.my serial nos is 10142.....,i hope it will work 4 me in Nigeria? Pls is intelsat 904 same with eutesat W3A?if i want 2 connect ma microbox

MICROBOX IS WORKING

Microbox1 working gud with improve performance i.e less freezing bt no d*** sport channels

@Boyano,pls wat version of s/w are u using?so i can try it.

please what is difference btw eagle dongle and microbox please can eagle work as microbox?

version 1.65 LT1.06 working fine on nss7, nilesat and only few channels of D*** less or sometimes no freezing.

I cleaned it 2ice b4 uploading d s/w.I'm using srt4669x11 receiver 110p firmware.wen I connect w3A 2 d dongle I don't receive a green signal is dat ok?anoda questn is wen I choose dongle1,do I ve 2 choose d Baurate freq?wen I connect w3A directly 2 d receiver I get good signal of 52 in Vertical.I guess I must be doing s/tyn wrong

my signal quality is 72 on 12728v30000

avatar go sell wella when it has come back because most of this our upload don spoil most even my own no fit receive software again. i guess it is a strategy to sell more dongle they are into. what do you guyz think?

u signal must b atleast 64 in vertical.

i have not said it will work. but for it to work ,dats the minimumsignal level required.

Check d serial no..If it star  101 it means it can't work again..But if it 103 its means it can work..u dnt need 2 clean..

Sorry micro is usg diffrnt protocol for nw..sometimes it works.. nss7 .But presently nt working..but if u av nilesar or hotbird and small portion of dxxxv..no shaking..enjoy while last.

i hav tried it on nilesat but is not working 4 me.

Pls can i change my s/n on my microbox?.why i say so is bcos my friend s/n start with 103 and it is workin,but my s/n start with 101 and it is not working.pls help!!!!!!.
