Manchester City have made a second bid, worth £47m, for Wolfsburg winger Kevin De Bruyne, 24, in an attempt to make the forward their fifth addition of the summer. (Guardian)  Shocked

Everton will turn down Chelsea's offer of £30m for England defender John Stones, 20. (Daily Mail)  Mad

But the Toffees are considering a move for AC Milan defender Cristian Zapata, 28, as a possible replacement for Stones, should the centre-back leave. (ESPN)
