5 free video chatting apps for Android Empty
PostSubject: 5 free video chatting apps for Android   5 free video chatting apps for Android Empty2015-11-05, 23:32

1. Glide - Video Chat Messenger
Glide isn't your typical video chatting app, per se. It's actually a video messaging service where you film video messages and send them to your people. Now, the person to whom they are adressed can actually watch you record the message live, but live video chatting isn't an option. Confused? Think of Glide as a video messaging app with live chatting features and you'll get a feel for it. Moreover, the application is free, so you're invited to try it out

2. ICQ
Ahh, remember ICQ? Unbelieveable, but it's still alive and kicking! Once limited to chat messaging, ICQ is now a full-fledged video chat app, with free calls, group chatting, and HD video enabled. It's also got messaging and calling features similar to those of Skype and Google Hangouts. Moreover, the app is cross-platform, so you'll be able to reach your friends on ICQ nomatter what they compute on. Nifty!

3. ooVoo Video Call, Text & Voice
ooVoo is a more familiar "does it all" type of messaging and video app. It combines texting, voice calls, and video calls in one outfit. It also happens to be a very popular app with over 50 million downloads worldwide. Free video calls are limited to 12 participants and there's built-in functionality to detect abrupt changes in connection speeds and help avoid dropped calls. It's a good app that holds its own against the competition.

4. Tango
Tango is one of the first video chat apps on Android, which means it has had enough time to mature and grow into a stable, feature-rich application. It offers free video calls, voice calls, and text chat. There's also a discover feature for meeting new people with interests like yours. It works over Wi-Fi, makes calls to any phone number, and contains more stickers and emoji than you probably know what to do with!

5. Zangi
Zangi is a more recent app that's yet to prove itself quite like the others. However, it definitely differs with its ability to carry video calls over low-data networks, including 2G and Edge. So if you ever find yourself in an area of horribly poor signal, then this is an app you can possibly count on. It is also designed to run on low-end devices, making it great for owners of affordable Androids.
