Manchester United have been linked with a big money swoop for Benfica sensation Renato Sanches.
The Daily Star are one of many outlets to report the Red Devils have submitted an offer of £31 million to sign the teenager, who only made his debut last year.
Sanchez is very highly rated with The Sun descibing him as the 'new Ronaldinho'.
Benfica were in action last night, winning 4-1 away to Moreirense, with Sanches playing the full 90 minutes.
His boss Rui Vitoria gave a cryptic answer over Renato Sanches' future when pressed after the game.
He is quoted by Mais Futebol: "He has great maturity for his age and he is being protected by the players who work with him daily and help a lot. And when things have to be, they will be."
He is effectively saying what happens is out of his hands, with any deal to be agreed by the board. If Sanches does stay, evidently he will be happy to have him, but if United pull off another Anthony Martial-esque signing, then his coach believes the player has the temperament to adjust.
