SERIAL SHARING PROTOCOL

1. SSSP
FOR SIMPLE SERIAL SHARING PROTOCOL IS AN OLD PROTOCOL THAT WAS USED TO SHARE A
SMART CARD OVER THE INTERNET.

2. This Protocol defines the communication between a DVB Box and a
gbox by using a
RS232(serial/com/tty port) with only 4 commands to implement.

Using
an rs232 cable to share smart card

1.
in this mode, you can connect 2 STB with rs232
cable(pin2->pin3,pin3-->pin2,pin5->pin5)

Bound rate can be
changing;
a. 115200: speed is high, but can only
transmit short distance with rs232 cable;
b. 9600: speed is low, but can only
transmit long distance with rs232 cable

the slave STB can share
the master smartcards

the receiver with the card is a
master receiver, whose rs232 settings are set to master

5.
Id on rs232 master can be any
value—0, 1, and 2—if you only have one slave receiver.

On slave receiver, set the rs232 to
slave.

This is good for home use only. The
rs232 cable should be one meter or one and half.

8.
However on the slave receiver, some
channels would not show. Nevertheless 95% of the channels will show.

9.
If you need to share with your
distant neighbor then you need to use RF cable to share. I use my smart phone
as remote control to control at a far distance like 50 meter. Smart phone over
wireless.

Some receiver can do this.

witch app did you use for android smartphone i have a wiko cink peax android based.... i have connect my srt 4922 trought rj45 cable but my router also have wifi connexion... can it work?

INSTALL IT ON YOUR ANDROID SMART PHONE. IT WORK ON ANY ANDROID. LINUX SMART PHONE- (UBUNTU).

ACTIVATE WIRELESS ON YOURSAMRT PHONE.

DETECT YOUR STB IP USING THE SMART PHONE.
IF YOU ARE ANYWHERE WERE YR WIFI REACHES, THEN CONNECT WITH

RS232 HOME SHARE.YOU NEED A HARDWARE:

LS908S Serial Port Splitter

Overview
The
Landsky LS908S is a unique RS232 serial port splitter mainly used to
match our digital satellite receiver models LS1600B, LS1600U and
LS1600E.

This
serial splitter enables the user to split one real RS232 port to the
master receiver with a smart card inserted into ten virtual slave
receiver ports, each acting as an exact copy of the real one. Through
the serial port connecting, all slave receivers with no card inserted
can reliably share the same smart card to the master receiver. The max
length of the cable can be up to 100 meters. It’s a stable and reliable card sharing method very appropriate for end users like restaurants, TV stations and homes etc.

Main advantages
1. Low cost card sharing
With a LS908S HUB, one
master receiver with a smart card inserted can drive up to 11 receivers
totally (i.e., one master receiver and ten slave receivers).

2. High stability and reliability
The final effect of this kind of card sharing is very stable and reliable. It’s very appropriate for end users in restaurants and TV head-ends.

3. Simple to use, easy to connect
When
using, the user only needs a cable to connect STB with serial splitter.
The maximum transmission distance between the STB and the serial
splitter can reach 100 meters.

4. Simple menu setting
Before
use, the user is only needed to preset a same baud rate for the master
receiver and the slave receiver(s) to share and the stable
communications can be realized right now.
