Well, something frustrating, when enjoying the stunning HD image quality from Canon XA20, many folks are having problems when importing Canon XA20 1080 60p AVCHD to Avid MC. In fact, very few NLE's can support 60p AVCHD video including Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, etc. Actually, 60fps at 1080 is a non-standard format and Avid only works with standard film and broadcast formats. Transcoding Canon XA20 MTS recordings to Avid Media Composer

Step 1: Install and Launch the MTS Converter for Avid on your Mac and load your .mts/.m2ts files from XA20 to it.
