Queen rocks too much. Use modem or router. Then you are good to go with any network u desire.

If u sre still using gprs to connect and u could not achieve a decent connection despite a firmware upgrade, then it means ur network in ur area is terrible. Ur saving grace will be getting a sim router to end ur woos & sorrows. If u are still reluctant in acquiring a router then for God'sake stop disturbing this honourable thread with ur constant complaints and park well somewhere else. Am just tired with all these unnecessary undeserved compliants jo!

As for the speed, you can google out.just compare the two. The little I know is that modem transfer at the rate of 100MB per SECOND. Because it uses Lan port to connect. The minimum you can get a router is 9k. I guess when u add a little cash u can buy queen itself.

I dont think its ts about Modem or Router. . . I guess it has more to do with the network involved someone told me he is using gprs via airtel and it's working. My only issue here is, if I use Airtel, do I have to change any configuration on the decoder?

No. You need not to change anything. The auto link will do that. Just insert the sim and you are good to go if your network is strong.
