A middle-aged woman, identified as Iyawo Alfa was on Friday killed while praying inside a church (name hidden) located in Sotunbo, along the ever- busy Sagamu/Ikorodu road in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun state.
The ugly incident, which occurred at about 6.00 am, was reported to be the second in three weeks in the same church.
Eyewitness told newsmen that the vehicle with registration number, XM 594 SMK rammed into the church when the driver lost control and rammed into the church after one of its tyres blew out.
It was gathered that the woman was hit from behind while kneeling in prayer with her four her months old baby and died on the spot. Her baby and the Pastor who were present during the prayer survived the accident.
It was gathered that Police had arrested two persons in connection with accident.
Residents further disclosed that a similar accident occurred in front of the church about three weeks ago when an 18-seater bus had an accident, leading to the death of the driver
