These are short but deep lines taken from one of the deep poems of ARMA, one of Africa’s youngest and fastest thinkers. We feel these lines in the stanza written above depicts what is going on in the politics of Ogun State and the fact that it is getting corrected.
We wrote earlier that gbenga daniel is being politically persecuted in our first post which made him of the same kind with the great sage Baba Awolowo.
Please, we would like to reaffirm here that we are not politicians but Custodians of history. We will not sit and allow the REAL HISTORY of greatness capable of inspiring the next generation disappears into thin air because of politics. This is what we stand for.
We will explain the lines in twos in the stanza one by one as it relates with otunba gbenga daniel.

The concept of the lying sooth sayer depicts many good people who have great reputation for being truthful but have successfully been given lies to believe. They so much have received the lies in such a way that they also have become advocates of those lies. Some of us in Project Correct were like that before we found out the truth.
“When a truthful man known for being truthful tell a lie; the people believes him”
This is the story of gbenga daniel. Many good people of the State have been told lies about his person and his acts all of which were coined by people gifted in CREATIVE WICKEDNESS! We are so worried at the level of hatred these evil people have poured out on gbenga daniel. They are just like the biblical enemies of Paul in the Bible who said they will not eat until Paul is put to death. They have sworn to be his enemies all their lives.
This is very sad and calls for serious THINKING on the part of our people. I can vividly remember when someone in Ogun State claimed that his head was hurt by boys from gbenga daniel, he bandaged it and there was a spot of blood on his head. But three days later, the bandage was out and the head never had any cut… Waoh! Well God is a miracle working God. This, and many other gimmicks were implored to tarnish the image of gbenga daniel.
So many factors were up against gbenga daniel, there were betrayals from his inner circles and from outside as well. He was paid evil for the good he did to so many people. Some people he raised became his arch enemies. You need to read what Bhuruji Kashamu said about the attacks on the person of gbenga daniel…
“He (Obasanjo) used me to fight gbenga daniel and I spent over N3 billion to fight his cause and took the PDP structure from daniel and handed it over to him”

So let us think deeply about this write up. To spend 3 Billion to dislodge someone must have been a complete master plan of evil moves. They really came in from the back and had a serious HIT on gbenga daniel because the man was busy working in the State without thinking someone was up to reduce him. Well, they have tried their best in sharing bad news about him but the last time we checked… gbenga daniel is still standing tall.
The truth is that the emergence of gbenga daniel was and is still the best thing Ogun State has ever politically experienced… we have the proof. If you are doubting it please do a comparison between his government and this present one… look away from the roads and the flyovers for a moment and focus on THE PEOPLE and ask from them to tell you which government made them progress as a PEOPLE… You will be dazed at what you will hear. There was communal prosperity when daniel was governor. There was success everywhere. A lot of my friends became successful Fish Farmers and were helped by the state Government to establish their businesses.
The best way to score a government is by assessing the government performance from the people’s angle and also looking at it from the economic growth aspect. We are not interested in spoiling anybody so we will not talk ill of the present government even if we have strong reservations.
As a matter of principle, we will not hesitate to share with the world if we see any excellent thing about Amosun who is the current governor. We are not blacklist experts, we are historians.
From the people’s angle and economic point of view, gbenga daniel remains the greatest Governor of Ogun State raising the Internal Generated Revenue by over 1000% without the people suffering from tax… that is a WAOH thing to do and he did it.
Lets do an analysis on the last two lines of the stanza…

People said he killed people but I am yet to see any dead body attached to this great man. Of course they know too well that they will go down for libel and slander so they will not be able to come out since they know that they are lying in the first place. My heart only goes out to the GOOD PEOPLE of OGUN STATE who have been lied to about the person of gbenga daniel which included some of us in Project Correct. But we thank God that we were able to find out these lies and that is why we have taken it upon ourselves to SET the RECORDS STRAIGHT! No more politics of Lies in Nigeria anymore. Deceiving the people with obnoxious lies and formed stories is not fair on humanity and it must stop.
One of my most revered friends once said that “Some people are paid to do evil” and this is the case of the people against gbenga daniel. But we are so certain that God is on the throne and He rules in the affairs of men. He raiseth up and bringeth down! He ensnares and he delivers as well! The wicked will bite dust and the truth will always outshine lies! Gbanga daniel is coming out of the Lions’ den of lies and undue maltreatment.
Baba Awolowo was lied upon on several occasions even by people very close to him who as well blackmailed him but they were unable to destroy his legacies because some people stood their grounds to protect history. One of such people is otunba gbenga daniel and now history beckons again as we young people have taken it upon ourselves to MOUNT A DEFENCE for anyone who wants to destroy RICH HISTORY of the great things achieved in his Government because of politics.
Well, my younger sister once said that “some people have programmed their minds on lies and that is why they reject the truth”. I only pray that people accept this write up and THINK deeply. God bless you all as you have open heart to this piece.
Once again, we are not saying that you should love him like we do… But please don’t lie on him.
Ogun people, we are sure gbenga daniel have you all in his heart. He loves you all and had always wanted you people to be fine. He did the little he could to empower as many as possible; please do have a STRONG RETHINK on all the bad things you have heard because we in PROJECT CORRECT are telling you this clearly with all authority that they are ALL LIES!
