The England international has now scored in 11 consecutive games and
overtaken the benchmark set by the former Manchester United striker in
2003
Ruud van Nistelrooy has hailed Jamie Vardy after the Leicester City striker
broke the Dutchman's Premier League record by scoring in 11 consecutive
games.
Vardy, who had already equalled the Dutchman's record set in 2003, struck
in the first half of Leicester's clash with Manchester United on Saturday to
set a new benchmark.
Well done @vardy7! You're number one now and you deserved it.
