There is nothing like 4922, i checked strong website but it is not there. It is a fake strong. Don't buy it oooooooooooooo

@ Michaelblakky, SRT 4922 is not fake! For the folks who need the patched firmware, be cool at least a month time or so it'll come out. Strong just want to push out other small HDs like Openbox out of market. Bear in mind that as soon as the patched firmware comes out, the price will go up.

Use 6969 to activate if is a strong decoder.

6969 does not work for it. I mean it does not activate the OPTION on it.....

It have option just like 4930 cause they using the same remote control, is the one best receiver is 4922 and also good for cccam

If de sw is from strong website it won't work. Use a sw from crosat.

Just go to installation and go down u will see option there and change it to dongle just like 4669x

it is not mytv 4940 hr decoder, and bside all 4922 has option, but u wil nid to locate drop down/up arrows , and scroll down to get the option feature

Now how can we activate OPTION on dis decoder as there is no option under installation here. Also, d decoder has no Rs232....

4940 is just for their paired cards. 4922 is an economical hd decoda. All hd strong decodas do not hav RF but HDMI

4940 has no option because it those not have rd233 port, so stop wasting ur time searching for OPTION

strong na wayo people, i bought my srt4669z wen it wasnt in there site but 2weeks later dey added it. So watchout srt4922 will soon be added

if it is added dat is wen i will buy it cos i need to see the features before buying it

by then it will be very expensive

i bought mine and went to their website to check whether it was genuine and i was told that it was genuine.I also called their office in Ghana on several occasions and they said it was a genuine strong product whenever i called.


Their site has not been updated that is why you are not able to see it there.
The decoder was made in just July 12 2012.

So if i were you i would rush and get mine asap.

wahoo i had that same problem and i had to install a new software before it could work

now i am having a problem inputing password
it accepts every other information but does not accept my password for the cccam
