In fact i have two boxes, mine is working fine, but the one my friend left here which was working fine is behaving exactly like geenak2001 describes.
Upgrading does not really change a thing. As they have 2 servers, it's a matter of luck.

As the AcamHD account is now working on s1, i think the workaround to force the toy to connect to the server may now work. Or simply they have fixed for all the speed now.

Hope they are working really to fix it soon

With my,some few channels came up without the rest but later everything went off again

Before,it was working better until I upgraded to v6.10.14 and my troubles began.Later downgraded but the harm has been already caused

dont you have the main flashfile of your box? the make a full wipe(restore factory default) and after downgrade to the main version

As i always say, why rush to upgrade when your current version does what you are expecting it to do? In your particular case, i don't think that v6.10 is responsible. Because so many speed users with differents versions are concerned.

You may give this a try:
1. OFF the box and remove ALL internet connection hardwares from your box (Lan cable, 3G modem, GPRS sim card or WiFi adapter)
2. ON the box, it will start without any internet link
3. Factory reset your box, when prompted, click yes to save data. So that you can keep your channel list
4. The box will start on one of the FTA, mostly Afrique24
5. OFF the box, then ON it again so that it starts on the same previous FTA, if not, switch to one FTA ie. Sikka TV or Afr24. Go to Ethernet config, select your internet connection protocol.
6. While on this FTA, plug your 3G modem (Note, if any other internet link than 3G, you will have to OFF the box first before plugging your internet link)
7. The box should prompt " hardware found" then network connection successful. You can check your given IP address to be sure.
8. Switch to a scramble channel, you should be welcomed to the server with your remaining days displayed. If not, restart the box with your internet link ON now.

Factory reset your box, when prompted, click yes to save data. So that you can keep your channel list. Hw do I do that?

Yes i know acam account is sell, it is that i say "by curiosity" but i don't have defaut flashfile. In fact it is last box wich come with 6.09...sw version(show girl in background on start up). With this 6.09...sw, the box not show anything as connexion to server. So i downgrad to 6.07.83 and it start working before goes off. I heard other in my area said theirs box are off too, so i think it is server problem really.

When you select "factory reset" and enter your password, once the reset is finished it asks if you want to save data. Then click yes!!!

After did it, no "welcome..." but just "your account will be expire at ..." as always. So if it not connected to the server, where did it get this message?

Very good question by the way. There are 2 levels or layers of identification on s1 IKS servers. The first one only reminds you that your account is activated and the countdown has started meaning that your speedcam code is known to them and activated, and displays the message "your expiry date is..."
Then "if" things go well, you should cross the barrier and get to the second layer of identification, which is the channel uncryption data base, to get access to unscrambled channels, thus you get the so expected message "welcome to THE SERVER, your account will expire after..."
To deal with the enormous number of users having regard to the weakness of their servers, they have 2 servers for access to unscrambled channels. That's why some are ON and other OFF. On which basis??? only chincos know. But they make use of Mac address, internet connection link, last IP address registered meaning internet service provider (that's why sometimes one operator is banned for a short period of time; but the operator himself can also block the P2P port also used for IKS) and i think sw version.
In few words, this is the sequence of identification:
1. Network connection success (local, on your side: even if you don't have airtime, but settings are correct, you will get this message)
2. Connec to the server (also on your side: if you don't have airtime or the servers are OFF, then you will get connect failed)
3. Your expiry date is on...(if servers are available and YOU have been granted access, then you will have...
4. "Welcome to the server"

I noticed that MANY OF THE FIRST boxes I sold to my customers ARE WORKING by now. But the two last batch of boxes purchased last two months are not working. SO, pull out the conclusion yourself...

true, i think first the problem happened few week ago, many may/june box are off when other of last 2 month(from october) still working. But with what happened last monday, many from october box are off when may/june still rock. I think all are working now

dis is wat I told pple den: weneva a new product comes out, decide fast and buy if u want to. Not dat u'll not b buying later wen d server is becoming congested. Dis also happened 2 qdog last year buh kudos 2 chinkos sha
