Very good question by the way. There are 2 levels or layers of identification on s1 IKS servers. The first one only reminds you that your account is activated and the countdown has started meaning that your speedcam code is known to them and activated, and displays the message "your expiry date is..."
Then "if" things go well, you should cross the barrier and get to the second layer of identification, which is the channel uncryption data base, to get access to unscrambled channels, thus you get the so expected message "welcome to THE SERVER, your account will expire after..."
To deal with the enormous number of users having regard to the weakness of their servers, they have 2 servers for access to unscrambled channels. That's why some are ON and other OFF. On which basis??? only chincos know. But they make use of Mac address, internet connection link, last IP address registered meaning internet service provider (that's why sometimes one operator is banned for a short period of time; but the operator himself can also block the P2P port also used for IKS) and i think sw version.
In few words, this is the sequence of identification:
1. Network connection success (local, on your side: even if you don't have airtime, but settings are correct, you will get this message)
2. Connec to the server (also on your side: if you don't have airtime or the servers are OFF, then you will get connect failed)
3. Your expiry date is on...(if servers are available and YOU have been granted access, then you will have...
4. "Welcome to the server"

This on and off thing from speed is too much. It want off around 12am GH time and yet not back.

Someone test the new Speed HD S2? I think it has good fuiture ,(DVB-T2 and DVB-S2) most african country have now DVB-T2 ,and 1 year one year free DST* and can*lsat.

Honestly guys how do you find the performance of the toy for the last 24h, mostly today? Even on channels where i had 0 freeze on one hour of viewing, like France24, i'm having frequent freezes. Am i on my own? Thanks for sharing
PS: I'm having this on all sw above v6.10, even on v6.07.86

I said it already, the boy is no more stable not last 24h but since it came back.
