Dongle problems table here

First topic message reminder :

If your dongle is not working pm me your serial number and the problem but if you bought it from me no need as i have it already.

@all pls i av microbox 1 and it as stop since march the s/n is 1014 and some1 said i shld changde the ic pls can any1 explain how the ic look like?

for people whose avatar is dead,that is when u connect d w3 cable to it, the lock light does not change to green, and you've done all necessary things needed, then follow this steps:
1.Connect d w3 cable to lnb input on your decoder.
2.connect another cable from the lnb loop out at d back of the decoder to the avatar.
3.scroll to any d channel on 12728 V30000 e.g zimbo tv, and leave it there.
4.connect d serial cable form ur avatar to decoder.
5. power ur avatar.
NOTE: For use on other providers, ur decoder has to be two,1 for ur avatar wch can be any decoder that perform the above steps, and the other 4663 or 4669 that can decrypt d channels.
NOTE: TESTED OK

Please my peeps and all the gurus in the house. I borrowed an installer friend my 4669x Original strong decoder, only to be told that the decoder got fried. The course of it, I was told was that the generator went off while he was upgrading the 4669x. Efforts were made to revive it, but all to no avail. I know the NTC guys are my last resort. Pls peeps, what can I do to wake my dead pet?

Connect the decoder to a desktop using ur rs232 cable...the black end goes to the system and the blue end to ur fried decodr...run d srt loader,pick the original firmware switch on ur decoder and click upgrade/install...it should take like 8-10 mins...u're done

You just too much don1. Thankz a bilion bro. I ve gone to those sites mentioned. But couldnt find the original firmware. Is patch same as firmware?

Pls House I have problem loading my Avatar 1 sd, i have the software and the loader but it always given me error when ever i try to load it m using the same machine and cable on the same computer to load avatar 2 successful, pls i need help from anybody that have successfuly load avatar

sorry..just saw this...at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] go to download area-software-nytv version and you'll see SRT-4669X-CONAX-DVR, Double click and you'l see software again...click and you'll see d sw in .stb format...download..YES PATCH IS SAME AS FW

What is BM-W3? Do you mean MB?

My avatar2 is having problem, its not working. When i connect w3 to it only the LOCK indicator is blinking green and red continuously. Pls help me.

That means your signal strenght is weak

yeah, dats d 1st step,2 check weda dias signal on ur w3.

If u are sure u did everything right, I suggest u reset ur dongle using d remote and installing a working software, or erase all installed data on it using the Gx loader den try re-installing a working soft.

i have a plastic box with BM-W3 written on it,so that was why i call it BM-W3

hey guys i udated my a****r with the aug sw but later installed the july version which stopped working, then i went and erased the dongle and tried to re install the aug sw but it kept reading error, wat shuld i do pls helpppp

.Erase your vodka with the loader and factory reset it.then upgrade with the oct sw.good luck

I just got SRT 4930 today and dont know how to get it work with Avatar dongle. Can somebody kindly guide me please. I was using the avatar with SRT 4669x before today.

Guys, i have a Sprejemnik HD909 DV3T. I tried updating it but it turned out the software was not right for it, now i get stack when trying to boot, the remote does not work nd i only have the welcome screen Anyone with idea on how to restore to fatory setings or erase the new software.

hello my brother, on your decoder press 6969 twice and connect your dongle it should start working

and also the vodka 2 does not need factory reset sha, after the erase i just downloaded the oct sw straight in

Thanks Sunny11, I just did that, it did not work, the dongle light was just green and no show.

okay now try this after you press 6969 twice, it should read patch on, only then it will be able to work with the dongle

After pressing 6969, it only showed as if I am typing the number, nothing shows thereafter except 'scramble channel'

That means your SW it is not patched, download the patched version of SW then try

yes it is different because the one you download from strong was not patched but this one wiil be patched try and tell me.

hi sunny11, need ur help im using srt4930 too, but when press the 6969 it turns on and still no show. the lock LED is green and the stb LED is blinking, but still it did'nt unlock scramble channel. need ur help pls.

hello, what software are you using for your dongle? If it is the 13th or 14th, then only you are good to go.

thanks for ur quick responed, but i installed the 13 and 14 still no show. i then downgrade to 2011/08/28 when i saw one of my friend avatar is working on that date. still no show.
question iam using the wrong sw? post me da link to urs pls.
