According to the developers of the app, it costs 0.99 US dollars in yearly to continue using Whatsapp but almost all of us haven't paid a cent for Whatsapp services. All we do is to update the app whenever a new update is rolled out in Google playstore. Sometimes I think does it mean that they don't know that people are not paying? Isn't there a way to stop someone from using the application without paying? Well, that's for them. I know of my friend that once paid the $0.99 not because he couldn't use his Whatsapp again but he just felt like using it to appreciate what the app has done for him. This will arguably shut the mouth of few people that still brag about BlackBerry and condemn Android devices. If you check, these kind of people haven't used Android before that's why they think BlackBerry is the best. Nothing can be compared to what Android offers both in terms of free browsing and customization. Now Android is also leading in the list of phones with strong and durable battery capacity. What else do you need in a smartphone?
