Using your strong decode, you can use
the code ‘8282’ to perform the
function that you want.
You could also try rescanning your
strong decoder. You can start this
process by firstly pressing the ‘main
menu’ button of any strong receiver.
The next step is to choose the
installation option, and then press the
OK button on your remote control. It
should come up with a screen that asks
you for your PIN number. You need
to enter 0000 in this screen.
Once you have done this, you will need
to enter the ‘Dish Setting Menu’ mode.
This will allow you to choose the right
satellite name. You will be able to
choose a number of satellites, for
instance, 68.5E INTELSAT 7, 10/K or
28.2E ASTRA 2A2B2D.
Once you’ve done this you need to be
sure that your LNB power is switched
on. This is really important. For LNB
type, you will want to choose
‘universal’.
You must also note that the LNB
frequency 9.750/10.600 should not
change under most circumstances. The
only time you would change this is if
you are a professional installer trying to
change the frequency.
Then you need to exist from the dish
setting menu, and head to the Manual
Scan menu. Under Manual Scan, you
need to choose ASTRA 2A2B2D
(MultiTv), and select the frequency
12.554 GHz from the list. The symbol
rate needs to be 19.531 MS/s, the
polarization needs to be vertical, and
the search type needs to be ‘all channel’.
Finally, the Network Search needs to
be switched on.
