If your nilesat 201 @ 7.3 deg. West has clear signal like 65 to 75, input these frequencies and scan your box, you may see what iam saying. (12034 v 27491, 11977 v 27500, 12015 v 27500. Most of frequency on nilesat 101 have been moved over to nilesat 201

Generally, the difference between the
two is that C band uses a Prime Focus, while Ku band uses offset. It is possible to pick up Ku band on a C band dish, but picking up C band on a Ku band dish will be somehow difficult... It is possible to install a Ku band LNBF on a C band dish to pickup signal from Ku band on the C band dish, but in most cases, one can not use a Ku band dish to pick up C band because of the size of the satellite dish. To simplify it; offset dish is like your usual 60cm and 90cm dishes, while prime focus is like your 2.4m and 3m dishes
NOTE: an offset dish of the same size performs better than a prime focus

offset dish of larger sizes from 1.5m above cannot b acquired in the country unless on order from abroad but is the best for fringe sat reception like nilesat, badr 6 or hotbird wen combined wit a hd lnb compared to the gigantic mesh or solid pan prime focus dishes, the common offset dishes here are 60cm and 90cm.
