MOGADISHU (AFP) – A large car bomb exploded close to the gate of Mogadishu’s international airport on Thursday, causing casualties, a Somali police official told AFP. “A car was parked near the airport gate. It detonated. There are casualties,” said police official Mohammed Abdi Rahman.
