GLO 1.6 Gigabyte data

Glo Nigeria is at it again, you can now get 1.6g of data valid for one month from glo...its simple...all you have to do is recharge your account and send the short code 55 to 127.
the cost is #2,000 and the data cap is 1.6g, validity 1 month.
this is the first of its kind.
although its called Glo My Phone Data, i tether among my devices & laptops and the speed is awesome.

Well the good side of it is that other service providers will see it as a challenge and come up with plans that would enable them get a fair share of the subscribers attention and by so doing the price would even nose dive the more. Yah! the 2k for 1.6G is ok,the speed is also superb, but with their speed it can't last a week. So we are not there yet. @ the same time the Glo people call the plan MY PHONE Promo. so it may not be forever.

No the Airtel is obviously cheaper, once you are in 3g area the speed is equally very good!!! N1,500 will give you 2gb no bonus clause!!

as for me rather i will use 2k for glo subscription i will go and dash mtn and receive any gigabyte from them

Its just a promo which ended on 31st March. So if u load now u will only get 800MB
