CCCAM AND ORTON X403P

First topic message reminder :

I have been trying to make my Orton x403p work with cccam without success. I just confirmed that the account is working as I used a friend'd strong 4930 to test the account and it worked.

I have used hsdata.cfg file which loaded successfully but did not work. I have inputed the account data manually without success.

How can i bring out my cccam account details, username and password out from my orton hd decoder to test it in my strong decoder, because no station is showing since a month back now after i bought it 2months ago, i only watched it for a month before dstv started having problems but some peoples own are back why mine none, so i want to get the username and password out of it to test it in my strong decoder. Please somebody assist me.

How did u input it in in d first place?

i bought it with d decoder like that. I did not input it in the orton decoder. D place i bought it they told me there is 6months already subscribed cccam account installed inside it

my orton is not booting,it keep showing ON on d decoder display screen,pls help.

Go to Menu to internet to net client config and click OK, there you will 8 sever look for anyone that is Green and the press the yellow button you will see your configuration. If any problem Pm.

Please adegoke i have done what u asked me to do in my orton decoder but my server is just 1 server but showing red now and it use to show green at times whenever i scan, but i have pressed the yellow button on it now, how can i get the por and srver address i will input in my strong decoder from there? Please help me out Adegoke

Please be very careful not delete your data. When you press the yellow once, please don't press it twice because it will copy from another server thereby deleting your original data. whenever you press the yellow button once you will see the following, server name, IP, Server Port, User Name, Password, Des Key, Active Server, Emm Enable, Emulator. What you only needs are. Server name, Server Port, Usernamer, Password. Press the yellow on the server that turn red or green. Thanks. If you have problem PM and I will send you my Phone Number. Remove d power cord from d power source, wait for awhile then connect it back. That should do it, if not den u should move over to step two.

IT SEEMS THEIR ARE PROBLEMS ALL OVER ORTON DECODERS MUST IT BE ONE OF THE FAKES AROUND

They are both good, I use them both. I prefer orton. I like the OSD. The EPG is better, one can easily find suitable program to watch at any point in time. Bind scan takes only three minutes. Server connection is faster. Supports Dolby Digital sound. The down side is, it has a maximum of 1080i display. It is quite an old gadget.
SRT 4930 supports 1080p. This is the major advantage it has over orton. The processes faster even video and sound. Put them side by side on two different televisions, you will understand what am talking about.

If you are going for a new box, you can try skybox f3 or open x3. They are far better.

You are damn right @Blackadam, but remember dat Dstv broadcast HD channels on 720p, only Good European satellite providers broadcast on full HD of 1080p like SKY HD! Nevertheless, he can go for Dreambox 800HD

Adegoke please i tried inputing my cccam account from my strong to orton back and i did all the necessary thing to be done and pressed the red button to save it and restarted the decoder but the channels did not show, but when i go back there and went to the account it showed me account not active that i should activate it with the white button but can not fond the white button on my orton decoder so i have to edith and restart again to see if it will activate but is did not, only to show me log off or something like account loading after logging error. The cccam account is inputed at the 2nd server cus the 1st server in my decoder is not working at all. Please wat do u tink i should do to make the account active in my orton decoder and make the stations show again? Please Adegoke help me or anybody in the house too. Thanks. Waiting for reply

Did you buy them from the local market? Mine works very well. I bought it last year online. I noticed the ones in the local market are from different manufacturers.

If ur orton is having problem just pm me tthe problem,i will be glad to help

works well without break with dstv on cccam but breaks often
on mytv. And the account works without break on both dstv
and mytv with strong decoder

Did u test the strong with the same dish that you use with the orton?

yes it works very fine without break both with dsrv and mytv and on the same account

What is the month and year of your current software

Update with either 1.4.34 firmware which is most stable on Orton X403p or with the latest firmware version 1.4.98.

If it still doesn't work, then try different dashboards of the softwares such as lemontree or amstar. Also, google search to know if ur STB is using the old remote or new remote so that u upgrade with the right firmware. if u don't have link to the series of orton softwares, follow this link

Don't also forget changing ur Diseqc switch or try ur CCcam with only My TV connected to the reciever.

hi guys, i am new in dis strong dvr. i recently bought strong srt 4922 dvr from someone. he claims it has an account which can be used to watch dstv channels. however non of them comes. i want to knw where i can verify the account. thanks.

pls each time i try to upgrade with any of the above softwares, it just shows reading without moving at all

The person u bought the receiver from should have connected it for u personally to verify the authenticity of his claims.

just press 8281 on your remote control to verify his claims

thank Gmailer, after pressing 8281 i see the server list. all the servers from connection_0 thru to connection_23 all have NEWCAMD as protocol, OFF for the ACTIVE filed and Disconntected for the status field. How do i know that account is working?
