pls guy this 232 cable i have see it, but what i don't understand is that what is in this cable that make it different from the first 232 cable ....... apart from the length,.....is there any i.c on the this new cable.... but for me is not i.c , is just a connection of the nine pins inside the both ends that different from the old one.

I think dis question is for d chincos that produced it...lol (just joking though). Mrman..it's called technology. All they did was to tweak d cable by re-configuring it in such a way that it will only work with d box. Remember that's why there is a new sw for it as well......
