Dongle problems table here

If your dongle is not working pm me your serial number and the problem but if you bought it from me no need as i have it already.

Try and install Winrar on ur system before u run it.

I have winrar on my system and i also saw the software but in the software there is
1. Serial Port : COM11
2. Mode: Download
3. Section: All
and
4. File: ............ This is where my problem is, i dont know the file name

Ok for that, you av to go back to the avatar official site to download the software for normal receiver. After the download, make sure you extract the file with the extension .bin. Back In the gxdownloader page where you were aving problem, click the button beside the box to search for the .bin file that you extracted earlier so dat it now appears in the file box then you are good to go.

Thanks i got it but i think the SERIAL PORT should be COM1 and there is no COM1 in the list of the port.....

serial port will be com1 only if you are using a desktop, if its a laptop it may be anything from 1 -600. keep trying the ports(usb on the laptop) til u get the right one.

hey guys, my dongle is not working. i ve told avatar stopped working in west africa. is that true?

Try other com ports that are available there till u get the rigth one. Trust me it will work. Talking frm experience.

What he is trying to say is that you should connect ur R232 cable to the back of ur decoder to transmit the signal through.

my bro, 2011 fta problem has pass that level o.
just try and flip back some pages of this thread, you'l see the download link for some softwares. download them then, follow the procedure to upgrade your dongle.

good morning sir i need ur help i have avater3 i put w3a satalite to my avter3 and rs232 i put my 4669x after that data light on and of and single light is on ..... and d........v channel is not open ........i have disc switch after that i chang my satting i take out my w3a satalite wire fom my avater and i put my disc switch and i take out one wire to me 4669x to form loop out and i put my avater3 after that i go to my 4669x and sclect psat channel from w3a than what i c frm avater3 data light is blanking and my red light allso blanking after that i go d..........v channel is open for 2mint and of agian than i go to psat my avater3 start agian to show data light and red single light agian blanking after that i go agian to my d....v channel open agian for 2mint and of agian..and green light blanking and red light just on ples what i can do helpe me thx a lot

From wat u'v explained, it is still a signal problem. Check if the cable coming from ur w3a satellite has joining anywhere, loose and rejoin properly and make sure the cables are not torching each other then tape properly. Try the channels again and c wat happens.

Go to avater official software thread (PART 2) page 4 to download software to upgrate ur avater.

Remove ur w3a cable from the DisEq and connect directly to the decoder. Once the signal comes thru and the stations are showing, remove the cable and connect to ur avatar. This will work, if it doesn't work, that means u av to reload ur avatar. Best of luck.
