Please, gurus in this house help me to solve the problem of my gsky powervu receiver. I scanned 68.e and 66.e and I was enjoying viewing and suddenly the signal went off. I did everything but the signal will and then go off in seconds. I thought it had to do with settings and I did factory setting. Now there is signal but I can't scan the important channels like Sony max, CNN, Sky news, BBC. I can only get discovery channels and all the fta channels. I tried to do manual scanning but whenever I did these particular frequencies it will just say "no program". However, I was able to scan same channels with my strong decoder. Does it mean I lost the data of that channels?

this decoder is proving resilient. and automatic update.nice

This one is an exceptional development which I think has to do with software. It happened to my Tlink receiver whereby some tv channels moved to radio side. I did everything including factory resetting but the channels remains there. However after upgrading the software everything was restored to normal position. Unfortunately, no software upgrade for this receiver yet. If there is any I will appreciate if someone can post it to me.

I called my installer yesterday and we tried to scan these particular channels without success. There's enough signal as almost all the fta and others popped up. He just advised to exercise patience that after sometimes the receiver will scan the channels again. However, from my experience with the Tlink I don't this can be done without installing a new software.

I just ordered a GSKY V6 i live in Canada a Few of us Diehard C banders are testing Power Vu on Dreambox 800's, Openbox 5, Pci Card is another option that is played with here on Power Vu. The dreambox will auto roll but is a lot of work setting it up. We found out about the GSKY V6 & thought if this box really works as Advertised then they will sell. The price sure is a Deal the 5th of what my Dreambox 800HD ( NON CLONE 100% Original ) cost me. We have high hopes for this box, but what i have read about it so far it all good
