We are asking the GSKY V6 engineers to add the North American Sats to the Sat list the box is only rolling keys for a few TP's. We are asking them to make a bin for NA/ users as they say there is not enough room to have both European & North American on the box. I am sure they will get a lot of NA sales if they made a File for us.

I think this gsky is OK but it is not as strong as the strong receivers. Take example of mine just because of factory reset it lost its brain cells. And I doubt if it can last longer as strong receivers. Though it has all the latest technology I don't think it has the durability capacity.

You only need instruction on how to bring it back factory re setting can't make his brain lost

@ancl, it is really unusual because I know factory reset won't affect the functionality of a receiver but this is just what happened to my gsky receiver. For instance on hotbird with my 2.4 I am getting about 700 channels. This gsky scanned about 260 channels and then continued rescanning same over and over again three times. Same thing on nilesat. On 57.00 east I was lucky it scanned mtn worldwide but failed to scan EBC and Anhara which have the highest signals . It failed to scan all channels on 64.00 east, failed to scan mtn worldwide on the west, Sony channels on both 68.5E and 66.00 east. What a hopeless waste!!

I tried that o! It will just show no signal. And if there is signal it would scan and say no program. I tried it several times and called my installer and we tried it direct from the lnb without connecting to the disecq. Whenever it scanned 'no program' will show.

He should scan directly before setting up disecq
He should also upgrade to 2016 software
Factory reset does little or nothing compared to a software upgrade

Well they are suppose to add 5 NA Sats to the Sat List 91w - Galaxy 17,101w - SES 1,107w - ANIKF1R
131w - AMC 11, 135w - AMC 10 the file is to be released Tuesday or Wednesday if all works well they are going to add more NA Sats but this is a start & they Will sell better here in NA if we had all of our Sats added. They most likely will have to make a file with Only NA Sats due to lack of space on the stb

Well it is Not looking Good for NA Users of this box Right now but hopefully the engineers figure it out here is the reply we got back from them

Sorry for the delay. The engineer is still trying. The algorithm of power vu keys for North America is different from that for Africa. It seems more difficult than expectation. Upon there is news,I will inform you.

plz list the satellite name/digree/ TP, we will inform GSKY team start prepare solutions on NA fans requirement. will release NA version software for your field test.

The new NA Beta file now has a Power Vu Key Edit option in it. So if the GSKY V6 does not open the channel you now can enter the keys manually. The engineers are working on a auto roll file for NA users. This box has great support & will sell very well in NA once they get a good file made for NA users

Whats funny about It ? The GSKY V6 would not OPEN all Channels in North America so until they make a file for us NA users at least we have a option to make the channels work until they do.!!!!!!

I need help please. I was watching Sony max on 66.e and the signal just went off. All other channels are showing. Seems they have reduced the signal or is it my lnb?

I just uploaded d new Gsky v6 upgrade & i lost all my scanned channels. for me to input the TP its displaying out of range. Pls i need help here,im i doing something wrong? i used Nss7-22 deg, i uses SES, they are all displaying same thing. 04129v15406
