if u have remote and av cord,connect it and reset to factory setting,then upload d software again. After upload,connect it 2 decoder,plug and unplug,wait 4 some seconds,then plug again. If doesnt unscramble,leave and wait for atleast 5mins or more.it will eventually come up,if ur upload is correct.

how do i use my laptop to download this avatar 2 sw, it is a 10" notebook with no dvd rom but with three usb ports, can anyone help out pls?

please guys in the house, i tried the upgrading with my desk top but it did not upgrade each times it will display download time out.i followed all the necessary steps to upgrade it, please someone should help and tell me what to do.

check for virus on your system

To upgrade avatar 1. first click on the loader find your saved software from your computer
after all these is well done now click on download or loader then power ur avatar that is all. if u are in benin city u can text me 08027360193 for help. please d,not call

IF ITS, AVARTA 1, DONT BOTHER YOUR HEAD, DESKTOP WONT DO IT, GET YOURSELF USB TO SERIAL CABLE AND USE A LAPTOP OR DESKTOP.

please i have 4 2011 fta receivers but cannot update them pls should i use the rc232 cable that came with the box because i tries to update the box with the rc232 cord that came with it .worst of all i dont know my chip type and i gat the update and loader but it aint moving at all please i need urgent help pls

use the rc232 that come with the dongle after u have exract the software from ZIP or rar, there is double arrow after the serial port colum, click on that double arrow another dialouge box will appear change the flash If to SPI flash and change Memory type to DDRAM then power the dongle it will start to download.

please don't use laptop use desktop b/cus laptop will not work. and use the cable that come with it.

for you to unzip you must have winrar, 7zip or peazip. Any of these three would do. open the rar or zip file with any of the above program then choose a destination folder (where you want it extracted) thats all, simple isn't it?

Receivers need upgrades and patches if you aspire to get more from it. This update will make it open dstv cards (if you have a card and subscribed to dstv), but please note the link quoted is for 4669x, so be careful not do download the wrong firmware.
